A quiet time spent assembling each individual component, surrounded by the scent of wood. Immersing oneself in intricate handiwork is a luxurious time to escape from everyday life and confront oneself. Sharpen your five senses, move your hands, and savor the moment when form is created. Please enjoy to your heart's content the essential joy of craftsmanship. We offer four types of experience courses, including a mini kumiko workshop. We offer courses where you can choose your favorite pattern, as well as advanced courses that use more parts and allow you to challenge yourself with more advanced techniques. A 2-minute walk from Toyama Station. Located in a convenient spot for a stop during sightseeing, you can experience the depth of craftsmanship that Toyama has nurtured. We invite you to enjoy a special time experiencing the handcrafted goods of Toyama. Experience Flow: Please gather at Kumikoza (please arrive a little before the start time of the experience). Explanation of the experience (approximately 5 minutes) Crafting experience (approximately 30-60 minutes) We primarily use videos with English subtitles and translation software. If you book at least two weeks before your experience date, we can arrange for an English interpreter. Please indicate your request for interpreting in the "Requests/Questions" section of the reservation form. *¥10,000 per hour (tax included) To prepare your seat, please indicate in the "Questions/Requests" section when making your reservation that you will be attending in a wheelchair.

-Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by a guardian. You only need to make a reservation for the child participating in the experience, but please indicate in the "Questions/Requests" section of the reservation form that you will be accompanying them. *Payment will be made at the reception desk before the experience. *Kumikoza does not accept cash payments. -If you wish to have 21 or more participants, please contact our head office. -If you are late, we cannot extend your experience time. Please arrive on time for the start of your session. -Since the number of materials and tools is limited, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change the number of people in your reservation. -The experience may be canceled due to unavoidable circumstances such as bad weather or equipment problems. -The content published on this site is subject to change without notice. -The estimated duration is approximate. It may vary depending on the content of the experience and the progress made. -If you request an extension of the session time, an additional fee may apply. -You may be participating in the experience together with customers from other groups. -You are free to take photos and videos during the experience. -Please be considerate of other customers' privacy, and feel free to share them on social media. -However, please refrain from using them for commercial purposes.
Seller's Cancellation/Refund Policy
There is no cancellation fee for reservations. However, since we need to prepare materials, please call us at least 30 minutes before your scheduled reservation time if you wish to cancel.

Train: 2-minute walk from JR Toyama Station (South Exit) From the south exit of the station, enter the underground passage and you will find Kumikoza next to "South Exit 2". You can comfortably reach us via the underground passage even on rainy or snowy days. Car: 20 minutes from the Toyama Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway towards downtown Toyama.
