We cater to a variety of body types and conditions, including those with weakened legs and hips who cannot stand, and those who primarily reside in bed. (e.g., stroke, hemiplegia, lower limb impairment, quadriplegia, severe disability, bedridden, etc.) A detailed dressing guide with photos will be included with your rental. Mens hakama and womens kimono are both available, we also have hair adornments. The back has a zipper closure and the obi (sash) is a one-touch Velcro type, making it easy to wear. The waist is elastic for a comfortable fit, and the obi knot is padded, so it won't hurt even if you lean against it. It's designed to be comfortable and put minimal strain on your body. We offer two types of separate garments to choose from, depending on the degree of disability. One is a wrap-around skirt type that can be worn while standing or sitting, and the other is designed for use while seated. We will prepare your kimono or hakama based on the information sheet you fill out regarding your physical condition and measurements. We deliver nationwide in Japan, so even if you live far away, you can rest assured. Furisode and hakama will be delivered up to 10 days before the date of use, and tomesode up to 4 days before. Upon arrival, please open the package immediately and check that the contents and size are correct. If there are any problems, please contact us immediately. We will take care of it. Changing time is only 10 minutes, and no prior knowledge of kimono dressing is required! Please enjoy a special day in a kimono. <Rental Period> Formal Kimono (Tomesode): Up to 8 days Furisode (Long-sleeved Kimono), Women's Hakama (Traditional Japanese Trousers), Men's Hakama (Traditional Japanese Trousers): Up to 30 days In addition, if the ceremony spans across different months, we will extend the rental period by a few days free of charge upon consultation. Once you have used the service, please place the entire kimono set back into the box (bag) that was sent to you and return it using the return shipping label enclosed with the kimono. The cleaning fee is included in the basic fee, so please return it as is.
