The studio creates the earthenware adapted to the modern lifestyle, mastering the colorful painting and openwork carving techniques of Kyoto-style pottery cultivated through its 100-year-old history. Shunji Mori has also been selected as a "Contemporary Master Craftsman", which is a recognition of outstanding craftsmanship in Japan. It takes approximately 60 minutes and costs 10,000 yen per person (excluding tax). There are multiple types of courses offered for plates, hand building, wheel throwing, painting and glazing.

Additional Terms and Limitations
Private arrangement with a group of 2 through 4 people only. Workshop and studio tour is held in Japanese. If you don’t understand Japanese, you have to arrange your own interpreter. Please let us know if you will be bringing an interpreter.
