You'll participate in a guided tasting of our organic matcha and sencha, before enjoying a farm-to-table lunch and in-house-made tea sweets. It's an unforgettable morning dedicated to teaching you about the sustainable and organic cultivation of matcha and other Japanese teas, perfect for tea lovers or those looking to discover life in the Japanese countryside. Language: English The tour begins at 9:30am at the d:matcha café and ends at around 1:15pm. We are happy to accommodate dietary needs. Children are welcome, however please note: We do not offer a separate children’s program. All guests, including children, must pay the full tour price (no discounted pricing for children) The experience is designed for adults and older children who can participate for the full duration. This experience is designed for guests who wish to slow down, learn, and connect with tea farming and rural life in Wazuka. While we are happy to answer questions during the tour, this experience is not intended for commercial research, business inquiries, or professional photo shoots. We kindly ask that guests join with a genuine interest in tea and the experience itself, rather than for business or promotional purposes. If you cancel more than 7 days prior to your scheduled tour date or within 24 hours of booking, you are entitled to a full refund. Otherwise, no refund will be issued.

d:matcha Shuttle Bus from Ishiyama Station North Gate Departure: 8:45 AM (sharp) Pick-up: Ishiyama Station No shuttle reservation required Cost: 1,500 JPY (one way, pay at d:matcha) Please arrive by 8:30 AM. If you miss the shuttle, taxi is the only alternative option. Most of our international visitors come from Kyoto or Nara, but we are also easily accessible from Shiga and Osaka.
