A renovated rice storehouse from the late Edo period, it opened as Japan's second folk art museum. It has a collection of 15,000 durable and beautiful items used in daily life from all over the world. March-November: 9:00-17:00 (Last admission 16:45) December-February: 9:00-16:15 (Last admission 16:00) Closed: Mondays (open on holidays), December 29th to January 1st, open every day in August Admission fee: 1,200 yen for adults, 500 yen for high school and university students, 300 yen for elementary and junior high school students
