This workshop was opened in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture in 2021, where people can experience these techniques up close and experience their depth. After coloring is complete, the item will be steamed and washed in water (Yuzen Nagashi) in the workshop, and will be shipped at a later date. Fabric size (89 x 129)cm Estimated shipping fee: 600 yen (including finishing fee) ※Please check before making a reservation, You must stay in Japan for at least 3days after the completion of the experience. It is difficult to send raw silk materials overseas, so works must be sent by mail within Japan. (We Will sent them to your accommodation.) "The Asano River flows through the ancient city of Kanazawa. At the beginning of the Showa era, my grandfather used this river for the Yuzen Nagashi process when he was working as a dyer. I came into contact with Kaga Yuzen at my grandfather's dyeing studio and felt the beauty of handwork and the importance of traditional craftsmanship. After graduating from Kanazawa College of Art, I worked in the family dyeing business before becoming a Yuzen artist. With the hope that as many people as possible would learn about the art of dyeing through the Yuzen experience, I opened a new studio near the Asano River in the Reiwa era.
