Nakakin Glass Inc. produces and sells Edo-glass from its base in Edogawa-ku, Tokyo where the culture of craftsmanship has thrived since ancient times. Participate in a Kiriko cut-glass activity using an Edo-glass Matcha tea bowl at this workshop, home to a longstanding Edo glass tradition. Create an original masterpiece by drawing and carving your own special pattern in a Matcha tea bowl treated with cutworks by an artisan. Using the completed Matcha tea bowl, enjoy a tea ceremony activity in the workshop's Tatami mat space. Experience the beauty of Edo-glass hues and brilliance, and the artistry of its craftsmanship. ・Experience drawing and carving your own unique pattern onto an Edo-glass Matcha tea bowl decorated by an artisan. ・Includes a tea ceremony activity with real tea in the Matcha tea bowl you made yourself ・An optional Kiriko cut-glass activity is also available, where you can draw and carve any pattern you like on a plain Matcha tea bowl.

Only participants are allowed to enter our studio, no free visitors, due to the limited space.
