In the year of 1923, we started to produce Edo-Kiriko glassware. We offer an activity of making an Edo-Kiriko glass and a workshop tour at our factory, had been built more than 100 years ago and involved in the project of decorating TOKYO SKYTREE elevators. ① About Edo-Kiriko glassware: Showing you a video about the history of our company and how our glassware is being made. (approx. 5 min.) ② A workshop tour: Enjoy watching the working places for craftsmen. ③ Edo-Kiriko production experience: Edo-Kiriko, which is a traditional craft designated by both Japanese government and the city of Tokyo. Just try to make up the only glass in the world by adding your own original cut on the one designed Mt. Fuji, which is a symbol of Japan. Absolutely, You can take it back home with you, for a souvenir and a gift for someone you love. ④ Have a photo shoot! You can take pictures with your glass. Get a bonus by posting them on social media on the spot. This is a very special experience plan for about 2 hours, you can enjoy watching, listening, and touching at the same time.

Additional Terms and Limitations
Minimum number of participants: 2 people. Ages 12 and up. We all handle glassware, so please follow the instructions by our staff.. There are glass-powder that has been scraped from glass inside the workshop, your clothes may get slightly stains and dirty. Please refrain from participating if you are not feeling well or if your body temperature is 37 degrees celsius or higher on the day you are about join. We always try to proceed safely while staying hydrated and taking breaks. There is public transportation nearby (buses). We do not have any accident insurance for injuries for this activity. If you think it's necessary to prepare for injuries and all, please check out your personal insurance coverage. Some photographs may be taken at our workshop and shop, then they are being posted and introduced on our website. Just let us know in case of that you don't want to be shown your face on our website, we pixelate your face. The activity we provide is available for those aged 12 and up. The Edo-Kiriko glassware experience is a craft work performed using both your hands and eyes, therefore, it is not appropriate for those have physical disabilities. Our building, factory and workshop are not designed for barrier-free accessibility.
