More Details
The colored paper used in this plan is called "Rakusuishi." By sprinkling water on top of washi paper made by craftsmen, a variety of patterns are created. The paper that has been further dyed is the beautiful and delicate Japanese paper "Rakusuishi". Choose your favorite one from among the dozens of types of Rakusuishi that have already been made, and place it on top of the made washi paper. Tosa Washi, with over a thousand years of history, is one of the three most famous types of Japanese paper. Despite its very thin and soft texture, it is also remarkably durable, widely used in the restoration of important cultural properties. Known for its beautiful dyeing techniques, Tosa Washi comes in a wide variety of colors, thicknesses, and manufacturing methods, making it a prominent traditional craft. *Workshops are in English or Japanese. *You can take the Japanese paper you made with you right away. *We may be able to accept reservations for dates that are not available on the calendar, so please feel free to contact us.
