In this experience, you can learn not only how to make chopsticks, but also about their history and background. This is not just a classroom for hands-on experiences, but where chopsticks are also sold, so you can see various types of chopsticks on display. There are many types of chopsticks in Japan; different types are used for different types of food like sushi, tempura, and ramen. Learn about the delicate consideration through the process of chopstick making. During the the lacquerware experience, learn not only about lacquerware but also about traditional Japanese crafts, used in shrines, temples, and daily life.
