Recycled Kimono Bag Making Experience (Mikan)

This two-hour version of the kimono bag making experience lasts a couple of hours and no sewing is involved. The finished bag will be sent to your hotel or home address (depending on the duration of your stay).

More Details

A full-day workshop experience is also available. In the two-hour version, we can start the bag-making together (selecting, cutting and preparing the fabrics and deciding on design elements) and I will sew it for you while you carry on your Kyoto adventures. 10:00 - 12:00 (an earlier time can be discussed - 2 hours is the maximum time but you might only need 1 hour depending on how many bags you want to make) This activity is for you if: ・You are looking for a special souvenir from your time in Kyoto or want to create a special gift for a loved one ・You wish to learn more about traditional fabrics and Japanese crafts and designs

The price depends on the bag design. An extra cost for shipping is required, whether it will be sent during your trip to Japan or once you are back home. I will discuss details with you and confirm shipping cost at the time of booking. If several participants join together, it is possible to combine shipping cost. The shipping time depends on the design and number of items.
