In addition, you will practice writing your name and the Japanese year in shodo (Japanese calligraphy) and add them to your artwork.

This is a wonderful Japanese art experience and a meaningful souvenir to take home. We will pick you up at YOGA station, about ten minutes from Shibuya via subway, and walk on ‘’Yoga Promenade’’ designed by one of the most famous architectural offices in Japan, ‘’Atelier Zo’’. You will enjoy flowers in the season of plums and cherry-blossoms, hear the sound of the stream, and find the poems from ‘’Hyakunin Isshu’’ (Japanese poem cards) at the road. There is a bamboo grove, which I will teach you how to draw. The promenade ends at my studio. Please let me know a few dates/times that suits you and I will arrange my schedule for that. If you wish, we can take you to the bus stop for Sangenjaya Station (Denentoshi Line) and Shibuya Station, making your journey back easy and comfortable.
