3-hour Intensive Workshop on Mizuhiki Knots (Washi Labo)

This is a workshop where you can make six different mizuhiki knots. There are many types of mizuhiki knots. First, we'll cover six that beginners should master.

At the end of the workshop, you can make a strap, earring, necklace, or pin badge using your preferred knot.

The following knots can be learned in this workshop (estimated workshop time: approximately 180 minutes): *Figure-eight knot *Awaji knot *Hugging Awaji knot *Nanohana knot *Ume knot *Double Awaji knot We often hear the following complaints from people who have attempted to tie mizuhiki but failed: "I watched the video and tried to tie it, but it didn't work." "I looked at the book and couldn't figure out where to thread the knot." "When I tried to tie multiple knots, it ended up a mess." We designed this beginner-friendly workshop with these concerns in mind. * We provide one-on-one instruction to help you understand where to thread the knots. * We also teach tips for creating beautiful results even with multiple knots . * To ensure you fully understand the knot technique, we will only be tying a single knot. * At the end of the workshop, you can make a strap, earring, necklace, or pin badge using your preferred knot. (Parts and other items are available.) * Please note that the workshop time may vary slightly depending on the number of participants. You can choose your favorite Mizuhiki knot during the workshop. (We also sell Mizuhiki knots for those who want to make them at home.) We will provide special tea and sweets during the workshop. (Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions.)

Additional Terms and Limitations

The workshop will be held Monday through Saturday or Sunday from 10:00 AM or 2:00 PM. (Up to four people can participate at a time.) If you have any questions, please contact us in advance. Our shop has a calico cat as its mascot. If you are uncomfortable with the cat or have allergies, we will move the cat to a separate room, so please let us know in advance. We clean daily, but cat hair is unavoidable. (Because we also have cat towers, etc.) Our shop also houses the workshop space. If you have severe allergies, the workshop itself may be difficult. Please confirm this in advance before applying.

Seller's Cancellation/Refund Policy

If you cancel up to three days before the event, your participation fee will be refunded. (Transfer fees and other charges are non-refundable.) However, if you cancel after that date, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged, regardless of the circumstances, and no refunds will be made. We are happy to discuss changing the date. Thank you for your understanding.
